Aardvark Swift is working with Steel City Interactive as they search for a Lead Publishing QA Tester. SCI are the developers of the highly anticipated ESBC boxing title featuring the world’s favourite fighters. A fast-growing and dynamic games studio, SCI are working with cutting edge technology and exciting new games for console and PC.
SCI are a creative bunch, actively generating ideas and bringing their collective skills, experiences, and storytelling to the creative process. As they enter a phase of expansion they're looking for an experienced Lead Publishing QA Tester to be a part of the team.
In this role, you will take ownership and responsibility for developing features, work with the wider team on planning and delivery and share a passion for games.

Your responsibilities will include...
- Training and mentoring the QA team, improving all areas of Quality Assurance in games testing
- Building Test Plans, Compat Checks, Soak Tests, Retail Disc Tests, DLC checks & Peripheral checks
- Providing quick assistance to other QA Game Leads, Directors and Senior Management often at short notice
- Extracting useful data from JIRA/TESTRAIL/EXCEL for QA Reports
- Supporting the development team in their design and implementation of game features
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
- Previous experience on a AAA title either on console, PC or mobile
- A strong understanding of quality assurance processes
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to manage and prioritise your own workload
- Experience with bug tracking software
- A good knowledge of the games market
- A willingness to work flexibly
Desirable but not essential…
- Knowledge of the sports sector, either physical or gaming
- Any formal or informal training in project management
- Steam PC title publishing or development
