Established in 2010, Playground Games have shown they have the vision to create genre-defining titles for a global audience with their critically-acclaimed, award-winning Forza Horizon series which has garnered more than one hundred awards and has been played by millions of fans.
Today, Playground has two world-class studios in Leamington Spa. At their first studio, they continue to support and grow the huge, vibrant Horizon community. In their new studio on the other side of town, Playground Games are excited to be developing Fable, a new beginning for the legendary franchise.
The team set themselves lofty goals aiming to be the best in the world at whatever they do, meaning they never compromise on quality. Playground also believe that making games should be fun and do everything they can to create an environment which fosters creativity, teamwork, and a relaxed working atmosphere.
Playground Games organises regular events throughout the year such as their summer barbecue and Christmas party. That’s not all however, as life at Playground includes paid for weekly social activities, wrap parties celebrating the launch of games, and other activities, from badminton to a weekly board games evening. The studio values their team and actively listens to improvements to studio amenities and processes, based on the results of regular staff satisfaction surveys.
