Job description

Aardvark Swift is working with Supermassive Games as they look for a Build Engineer to join them in their Guildford studio.

As a Build Engineer at Supermassive, you will contribute to multiple projects in development, enabling teams to create and deliver games across all consoles and PC platforms. 

Supermassive Games are a BAFTA winning game studio who develop innovative storytelling titles. With a number of successful titles under their belt, Supermassive are best known for their critically acclaimed hits such as Until Dawn and their recent release, The Devil In Me.

Your responsibilities…
  • Using in depth knowledge of build systems to design, implement, and maintain Supermassive Games’ CI and CD systems and pipelines
  • Collaborating with the other members of the Central Tech team to supply the highest level of service possible
  • Working closely with game and engine programmers across the various project teams to support the projects through their development cycle
  • Take responsibility for your own work and contribute to an environment where others feel enabled to do the same
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
  • Previous experience with CI/CD build systems such as TeamCity (Kotlin), Jenkins (JobDSL/Groovy), and Buildkite 
  • In-depth knowledge of Source Control software such as Perforce
  • Prior knowledge of Python
  • AAA game development experience, using Unreal or Unity
It's a bonus if you have…
