Job description

Aardvark Swift have teamed up with the amazing PitStop Productions! Due to rapid growth, PitStop are looking to recruit Business Development Executives to their South Yorkshire office.

You’ll be promoting and selling PitStop’s renowned high quality video game audio services to prospective clients on a global stage! Some of PitStop’s clients include Sony, Larian, Epic Games, Electronic Arts, Codemasters and Sega.

This is a brand-new multi-hire position, so support, training, and mentorship by PitStop’s experts in their field will be provided to develop the team.

Your responsibilities…
  • Establishing, developing, and maintaining business relationships with new and current customers
  • Attending conferences and industry events, networking in the UK and around the world
  • Managing leads and client engagement using CRM software, reporting to Head of Operations
  • Researching businesses, individuals, and industry trends to identify potential new clients and markets and ways to serve existing clients better, liaising with Heads of Department
  • Contacting potential new clients using phone and email to gauge interest and plan meetings
  • Preparing client facing materials and presentations, including PowerPoint and sales displays
  • Meeting new and existing clients in person
  • Facilitating introductions and ongoing project negotiations with key production personnel
  • Supporting with onboarding documentation and account management
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
  • Passionate about the videogames industry and knowledge and experience in gaming
  • Relevant degree in sales/marketing/management (or equivalent)
  • Experience managing B2B relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Versatile negotiation skills
  • Outstanding communication (written, verbal, telephone) and active listening skills
  • Working knowledge of word processing tools and other relevant software packages such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access and any other industry-related software
  • Confident, charismatic yet approachable communication style
  • Self-motivated and able to operate in a remote environment whilst travelling when required
  • Able to work independently as well as within the PitStop team and its supportive culture
  • A meticulous eye for detail 
  • Creativity to think outside of the box
Non-essential but desirable skills…
  • Previous experience utilising sales and marketing and customer service platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot or similar)
  • Proven track record in a similar role 
  • An understanding of business and project management principles
  • An in-depth knowledge of principles and methods for promoting and selling products/services
  • Market research and strategic planning
