Toadman Interactive is looking for a Lead Animator to join their studio in Stockholm.

As a Lead Animator at the studio, you will be animating everything from characters to weapons, monsters, and giant robots. You’ll also be dedicated to coaching other animators and working to improve and evolve Toadman’s animation pipeline, whilst utilising your understanding of technical limitations to push boundaries and reach a higher game quality.
Your responsibilities…
Deliver a wide range of animations (characters and objects)
Guide and mentor animation colleagues
Be responsible for implementing and testing your animations inside the engine
Collaborate with other departments to get the best possible gameplay solutions
Take care of organisational matters like planning and task creation
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
5 or more years’ professional game development experience
Knowledge of Maya
Passion for animation and a strong understanding of animation principles
Organised with good communication skills
Collaborative team player

Knowledge of Motionbuilder
Experience working with state machines
Experience in leading a team
Worked with animation in other industries outside of games
Experience in another game development area such as 3D modelling, engineering, or QA
