nDreams, an award-winning developer and publisher for VR experiences, is on the lookout for a Senior Environment Artist to collaborate with level designers and evangelise worlds that are built from the outset, You’ll fuse great creative design in order to deliver outstanding innovative gameplay.
At their Farnborough based studio, they are bringing their next unannounced next-gen VR game to life with truly remarkable in game environments. nDreams’ goal is to bring together the best of every discipline to pave the way for the next big hit in the VR space. The studio are an approved developer partner with Sony PlayStation, Oculus, HTC, Microsoft HoloLens, Google, and Samsung.
As a Senior Environment Artist at the studio, you will use a multitude of skills and techniques to deliver immersive and outstanding gameplay through lighting composition, atmosphere, set dressing, foliage and terrain. You’ll also be an nDreams ambassador and demonstrate the full potentials of a breath-taking environment among the art team and the wider studio.
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
Proven track record of creating cohesive and believable worlds across different styles on at least one released games title
4 or more years’ experience in a similar role
Utilisation of real-time engines
Ability to use relevant tools such as Maya and Z Brush to a high level
Applied understanding of environmeny composition, lighting, form and colour
Passionate about art and video gaming, with a particular interest in the VR market and the latest gameplay innovations
