Sharkmob London are working with Aardvark Swift as they seek to add a Combat Designer to their fantastically talented Design team.

The studio are experts in online AAA gaming, and have a fantastic new title in the works. Your responsibilities…

• Work with the Senior Combat Designer to support the vision and goals for combat
• Work with Unreal Engine to tune the combat experience for their game
• Evangelise the quality targets for combat to the wider team
• Conduct research across all streams of media to better deliver against the goals and vision of the combat experience for their project
• Regularly seek feedback from the wider team to aid you in honing the combat experience
• Assist in the development of the tools and systems necessary to deliver combat to the highest possible quality

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…

• Shipped one or more titles in a combat design role
• 3 or more years of professional game design experience
• Passion for games, with a love for combat focussed titles
• Excellent rapid prototyping skill
• Demonstrable experience delivering features that rely on timing and feel
• Understand combat systems in games across the industry
• Familiarity with the constraints of implementing combat in an online game is a bonus
