Job description

Epoch Making Toys are looking to bring in a Digital Executive to grow within their team.

As the Digital Executive you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues in marketing and also other departments. You will be responsible for co-owning the development and delivery of the strategy and day-to-day management of the EC site as well as overseeing CRM, including customer insight and data management reporting.

You will take a hands-on approach to delivery of tactical initiatives on the brand’s e-commerce platform, improving customer journey and driving conversion and revenue whilst ensuring brand status is maintained at the highest level, and use your commercial mindset and analytical skills collaborate with other team members and provide an outstanding customer experience that drives conversion and revenue.

Your responsibilities…

  • Ensure the web site, including all marketing channels, product, page titles and meta descriptions are optimised and maintained for SEO
  • Build, plan and implement the overall digital marketing strategy in conjunction with the global marketing calendar and collection launches, ensuring initiatives are rolled out across the website on time
  • Work closely with the Brand Marketing Manager to develop and execute strategies to increase email acquisition and meet planned growth targets, including management of data targets
  • Budget management and provide sales tracking providing insights to peers and senior management team
  • Work alongside other departments to implement promotional planning, execute successful product launches, and foster cross-functional collaboration with a creative 360 approach
  • Define/monitor KPIs to track sales performance, website performance and adjust investment and strategy where necessary
  • Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting and analysis using insights from website analytics to drive improvements across the website
  • Lead the development and management of CRO and Lead Gen roadmap
  • Work closely with agencies to drive and optimise new customer acquisition campaigns
  • Optimise CRM, email campaigns, customer segmentation and customer loyalty schemes by working closely with the internal marketing team
  • Ensure effective merchandising of products/product categories/promotions and continuous optimisation using Google Analytics and Hotjar insights, as well as keyword opportunities
  • Own core ecommerce KPI's such as SEO, CVR, AOV, site engagement, and bounce rate
  • Oversee all the company’s social media accounts including FB / IG / Twitter and LinkedIn

  • Comfortable in a hands-on environment from day one, with the understanding your role will grow with business growth
  • Possess a continuous improvement mindset, constantly looking to make tactical and strategic changes to gain a competitive advantage in a crowded ecommerce market
  • Be able to communicate effectively, empathetically, and professionally at all levels - be able to engage multiple stakeholders internally and externally to ensure changes can be made and evolution achieved
  • Experience in analytics tools, primarily Google Analytics
  • Experience of website CMS (Magento experience desirable)
