Job description

Legendary publisher Konami is working with us on a rare opening for a Football License & Activation Manager to join their tight-knit team at their Windsor base.

You’ll be taking responsibility for building and maintaining relationships with existing club and league partners at all levels to maximise the Konami football business across European territories as well as identifying and negotiating the renewal or new acquisition of licenses and partnerships throughout Europe.

Your responsibilities…
  • Support activation plans, rights allocation, execution and reporting with the Acquisition and Activation team
  • Contribute to the optimization, evaluation and reporting of activation projects
  • Manage processes to coordinate communication plans, tickets, teams, event schedules and rights management status across eFootball operations
  • Directly manage the activation process across all tiers of clubs
  • Manage and drive the activation process involving esports focussed projects
  • Manage the establishment, building and maintaining of relationships with existing club and league partners at all levels
  • Negotiate the rights, terms and conditions with licensors and close contract
  • Activate on partnership rights, including event management and online communication assets
  • Communicate and manage current partners and licensors and develop new relationships with potential partners
  • Report on negotiation progress and future schedules
  • Collect football related marketing data to improve football related knowledge
  • Work with the Licensing team and other teams on licensing and partnership requirements in Football games
  • Manage agencies for activations and co-ordinate contracts and approvals
  • Input monthly report data outlining achievements and future plans
  • Support the creation of yearly evaluation reports and propose on future required rights and activation initiatives
  • Work with agencies and internal teams to deliver assets
  • Collaborate with the Brand and Development teams to understand partnership and activation needs
The skills and experience you'll bring to the role…
  • Previously worked in a licensing related role with football clubs or federations
  • Experience with negotiating rights, terms and conditions with licensors and closing contracts
  • Experienced in coordinating communication plans and management of licensing rights agreements
  • General football interest and awareness and an interest in video gaming and/or esports
  • Proactive organisational skills to manage people, schedules and plans
  • Experience of internal reporting and communication to provide progress updates
  • Experience with planning, production and marketing
  • Ability to contribute ideas and value to activation plans
  • High level of gravitas for interactions with football clubs and partners
  • Ability to motivate and inspire people
  • Experience of working in a multicultural environment
  • Strong communication, relationship management and interpersonal skills, positive, and friendly attitude
  • Ability to collaborative across teams and communicate business strategy
  • Speaking multiple languages is a plus. English is required, but German and/or Italian would be a real bonus
