We are supporting Team17 as they look for a Global Commercial Manager to join their commercial team and work with the studio’s 1st party platform partners to continue to drive Team 17’s success across their portfolio of products.

Founded in 1990, Team17 has released over 90 games across multiple platforms including: the Worms franchise, The Escapists, the BAFTA award-winning Overcooked, Yooka-Laylee, Aven Colony, Sheltered, and Beyond Eyes. Currently Team17 is working alongside a varied range of talented developers from around the globe on games such as the forthcoming Yoku’s Island Express, Genesis: Alpha One, Sword Legacy: Omen and many more.

Your responsibilities…
  • Account Management of assigned partner accounts with a key focus on relationship management
  • Strategic planning for new releases across owned Accounts, working closely with internal teams to facilitate successful product launch campaigns
  • Manage product lifecycle through promotional activity, subscription deals, and other revenue driving strategic deal opportunities
  • Supporting the sales forecasting process for the business on new releases and back catalogue titles – providing commercial insights and direction with a data driven approach
  • Conduct regular business reviews both internally and externally
  • Travel to meet potential partners, attend trade shows, events, and participate in speaking opportunities as required
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
  • Experience working in a high performing commercial team with a focus on strong relationship management
  • Previous experience working in Physical Sales through distribution partners
  • Passion for video games and their developers – with a strong knowledge of the video games industry from a business and consumer perspective
  • Strong organisation and communication skills, with the emotional intelligence, diplomacy, and relationship skills to impact and engage stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • Prior experience of successfully hitting revenue targets
  • Wider understanding of the video games industry commercial landscape and emerging trends
