Deep Silver Dambuster Studios are looking for a Junior Tools Programmer to join their highly talented infrastructure department.

You will be working on the asset and build pipelines for the title, Dead Island 2, which has released on next gen consoles and PC platforms. Your primary remit will be to keep the game tools on the cutting edge.

Your responsibilities…

• Write clear, maintainable, and decoupled code

• Provide support and solving the problems encountered by their content creation teams, and often moving between tasks to respond to issues in a timely manner

• Possess the ability to understand and debug other programmers' code, and experience of source control software such as Perforce

• Strong academic background

• Desire to learn new skills and build on existing abilities

• Ability to work amongst cross discipline groups in the delivery of shared goals

• Good written and verbal English skills

• Great communication skills, friendly, open minded, positive, self-motivated, proactive, and willing to take direction

• Strong Python/C# programming skills

• Strong 3d maths, software engineering, and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of C++

• Tools and pipeline development experience

• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and JQuery

• Knowledge of frontend web frameworks such as, angular.js react or ember

• Knowledge of backend frameworks such as node.js

• Understand the various database solutions available such a MySQL, Redis, MongoDB
