We’re working with Black Forest Games in the search for a Lead Programmer to join their international team and work on Ips known worldwide. BFG are currently working on ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin’ and you will lead a team of developers working on this title.
As a Lead Programmer you will oversee and support a team of Gameplay Programmers creating the Turtles title using Unreal Engine. A key element of your role will be to mentor the team and it’s developers of varying skill levels, as well as promoting a collaborative and friendly culture.
Black Forest are part of the fastest-growing publisher in Europe, Embracer Group, and the biggest studio of THQ Nordic Vienna. Their last release was the highly successful remake of ‘Destroy All Humans!’. They look to combine the creative freedom and culture of an independent studio with the financial security of a big publisher.

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
7 or more years of professional games programming experience
5 or more years in a leadership position
Proficient in C++
A proven track record of effective leadership skills
Good English language skills
Bonus points if you have…
Familiarity with UE4 or UE5
Knowledge of profiling, optimizing code and linear algebra concepts
Contributed to recent AA/AAA character-based games
