Coatsink are looking to add to their programming team by bringing in a Mid or Senior Unity Programmer to implement the core functionality of their games, collaborating across teams to bring the collective vision of the project into reality.

The role is particularly suited to a generalist as you’ll be working across a range of areas within the code base, coding features, prototypes, and game wide systems, communicating effectively with Design, Art and other departments, bringing requested features to a polished state.

Coatsink are looking for programmers that understand the language features of C# and know how to utilise them for system design or performance purposes. The role will focus on feature implementation, but opportunities will be provided to specialise in areas you are particularly passionate about.

Your responsibilities will include…

• Implementing features and prototypes throughout the project’s development
• Bringing features to a polished release state
• Communicating effectively with other developers
• Reproducing and fixing gameplay bugs
• Branching and merging source control

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…

• 3+ years of industry experience
• Knowledge of a modern Game Engine: Unity, Unreal, Godot etc
• Strong understanding of Mathematics
