Job description

We are supporting Thunderful Games as they look for a passionate Producer to ensure that production is moving forward and that set deadlines and milestones are met.

Over the last few years, Thunderful Games has grown into a Europe-wide organisation of more than 300 people. Alongside the award-winning internal development pipeline responsible for the likes of the Steamworld IP, Thunderful Games also publishes a large number of third-party titles such as LEGO Bricktales, Planet Of Lana, Jurassic World Aftermath, and Viewfinder.

As a Producer at Thunderful Games you will be reporting directly to the Head of Development and Lead Producer, informing them about the ongoing development and progress of the project. You’ll be the primary contact person for the project's external and internal stakeholders.

Your responsibilities…

  • Update and track schedules, roadmaps, and milestones, ensuring requirements and product goals are met
  • Deliver the project with target quality, determined in consultation with the directors and the customer
  • Milestone planning and execution of fulfilling and renegotiating its deliverables
  • Establish and follow up project budgets to ensure that the project is kept within budget and if necessary renegotiate 
  • Participate in meetings with other producers and stakeholders to inform and coordinate with the rest of the organisation
  • Support leads and associate producers in different disciplines with scheduling and resource management
  • Support teams by facilitating and encouraging cross-discipline communication
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role… 
  • 3+ years of experience as a Producer or Project Manager, within game development
  • Experience shipping one or more multi-platform titles
  • Strong experience from going through submission processes in a multi-platform environment 
  • Prior experience in project management and agile methods and tools
  • Experience managing a team through a full production cycle, with a deep understanding of cross-discipline management
  • Enthusiastic, solution-oriented, and a good motivator
  • Ability to prioritise with tight deadlines and follow through
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills

It's a bonus if you have…

  • Experience in both AAA and Indie development
  • Previous experience working as an Executive Producer
  • Experience in JIRA
