Aardvark Swift have partnered up with Sharkmob's Malmo office to find a Senior AI Programmer. They are working on two games and have big ambitions for them, and the studio are seeking someone with a deep interest in AI who is dedicated to creating interesting and polished behaviours.
As a Senior AI programmer, you will work closely with the design, art, and other teams to create different types of agents in the game. You’ll also make the world full of life while making sure to reach set performance targets.
Sharkmob was founded in 2017 and has offices in Malmö, Sweden, and London, UK. The studio develops AAA-quality games for PC and console, using the Unreal Engine to power its ambitions of taking multiplayer games to new heights. Their first game, Bloodhunt, was released last year and they are currently working on two unannounced projects.
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
Several years of experience in game development
Proficient in C++ (or an equivalent programming language) at an advanced or expert level
Thrive on collaborating with diverse teams to craft engaging AI characters and their associated encounters
Possesses a solid grasp of designing, executing, and operating within a feature-rich game engine
Capable of scrutinizing and comprehending AI behaviours and their underlying principles
Able to create high-performance systems that can accommodate numerous agents
Effective communication and teamwork skills when collaborating with colleagues across development areas
Equipped to contribute to or lead the implementation of AI-related features
Exhibits a genuine passion for the world of gaming!
