Job description
We are helping Splash Damage find their next Senior Build Engineer to work cross-departmentally to understand and fulfil requirements for the entire build and release pipeline, from machine to player.
You will plan and create this build pipeline and infrastructure to support the project from a development and live services perspective.

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
- Proven industry experience in enhancing and maintaining build pipelines and infrastructure for multiple released titles
- Competent in utilizing Perforce and TeamCity
- Experience in delivering continuous updates and content for live games
- Experienced in deployment and development for PC, Xbox One, and PS4, with a bonus if you've worked with PlayStation 5
- Strong communication abilities, excellent time management, self-organization skills, and interpersonal teamwork skills
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language, preferably C# or Python
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, convey opportunities, and address constraints effectively
- Thrive within open and cooperative work settings
- Problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude, contributing to agile, fast-paced, and highly focused teams
- Effective at communicating ideas, intentions, and limitations to both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Unreal Engine 4 development
- Managing and integrating content delivery networks (CDN)
- Integrating cloud-based infrastructure within build pipelines (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Virtual machines and/or containers
- Integrating automated testing within build pipelines
- Multiplayer games
- 4 day working week
