We’re supporting Rebellion with their search for a Senior Build Engineer to join the Rebellion North team. You will be working with a creative in-house team and trusted industry partners on defining AAA IPs.
As a Senior Build Engineer, you will live and breathe code and automation, using your skills as a creative thinker to provide robust solutions to complex problems whilst maintaining and improving Rebellion’s internal build, test, and asset processing systems.
Your responsibilities will also include…
Extending the build and test systems for new platforms
Improving developers' workflows
Being proactive in all critical production issues and mitigation strategies
Diagnosing and fix errors that occur in continuous integration builds
Writing robust programs to make disparate systems work together seamlessly
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
4 years’ experience using C++ and object-oriented programming
3 years’ games experience in a Build role
Strong programming knowledge and experience of scripting languages
Professional experience with source control technologies such as Perforce
Collecting, managing and presenting complex data through a web interface
Interest in Linux-based systems
A passion to develop, maintain and further build systems and tools to improve quality and ease of use for the game teams
