Job description

Aardvark Swift are working with Uplift Games to help them find them an experienced Senior Consumer Products Manager to focus on North America. Uplift Games are a small team with a huge community, so to push the limits of scale and quality they are expanding their commercial team.

As the Senior Consumer Products Manager, you will be reporting to the Head of Consumer Products, and work alongside them on key global partnerships in toys and publishing, focusing on regional activations.

Uplift Games are the creators of the Roblox game Adopt Me that has amassed over 28 billion plays and has 38 million players logging in each month.

At Uplift Games your responsibilities will be…

  • Supporting Head of Consumer Products on strategy for global toy and publishing partners
  • Creating and delivering regional strategy across Hardlines and Softlines
  • Managing deals from start-to-finish, working to identify the opportunities, build the business case, gain approval from the relevant stakeholders, and execute the deal
  • Managing the royalty reporting and forecasting process with all US partners
  • Effectively liaising with marketing on strategies to link physical product with digital game
  • Being an ambassador for Uplift Games in any external dealings and embodying values

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…

  • 4+ years’ experience working in a commercial role in the Consumer Products industry
  • Proven track record of deal making strong negotiation skills and partner management
  • Experience of working effectively with global partners and an understanding of regional differences when negotiating a deal
  • Active market intelligence with a network of connections across the industry
  • Willingness to travel to meet potential partners as needed and attend trade shows
  • A data-driven approach with regards to forecasting and planning
  • Experience of contracts and specifics of legal agreements
