Bungie’s publishing organization is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to support the creation and execution of regional go-to market plans and drive local player engagement for Marathon in the EMEA region.
As the Senior Marketing Manager, you will work directly with the Principal Marketing Manager EMEA, to develop and deliver data informed strategic regional marketing plans, targeted campaigns, localized creative assets, and support for community events and influencer campaigns.
You will bring has enthusiasm for innovative, modern marketing to the role and the ability to reach local audiences with a customized approach. To succeed, you will need to excel at long-distance cross-team collaboration and communication while also championing internationally focused and region-specific marketing initiatives.
For this role you will need to be based in the Netherlands, from where you can work the role remotely.
Your responsibilities…

Your responsibilities…
- Act as an EMEA regional expert and support the International Marketing and Communications team between Bungie’s US-based marketing and franchise teams, reporting to the Principal Marketing Manager EMEA
- Work with the Principal Marketing Manager, EMEA to develop and execute EMEA local marketing campaigns, support global sales initiatives, and execute all high-impact marketing activities that align with International Marketing and Global Franchise strategy
- Work with the Bungie Communications team and local partners (including Marketing, PR and Social agencies, 1st parties and 3rd party partners), to establish value creating communication strategies and capabilities across region to ensure quality ‘culturalized’ coverage and creation of local content to fans and community
- Work collaboratively with central Publishing teams including (but not limited to) paid media, creative studios, production, strategic partnerships, analytics to maximize marketing spend to create bespoke marketing communication campaigns for Marathons priority player segments
- Ensure integration into planning and execution of Creator Marketing campaigns with the global Creator Marketing team and have the resources to deliver superb regional campaigns
- Manage end to end planning and execution of Marathon participation at relevant local consumer and community events (with key partners/sponsors/1st parties where applicable)
- Support the tracking and reporting of regional marketing initiatives performance and make recommendations to improve future effectiveness
- Develop strong working relationships with regional first-party platforms
- Demonstrated success in marketing at a global consumer brand in the entertainment industry
- Deep familiarity with live service games and their online player communities
- A willingness to share your hard-won EMEA regional expertise and opinions to deliver data backed, creative, insightful marketing campaigns
- Detailed knowledge of the full range of marketing strategies, initiatives, watch outs, and activities required to support a successful go to market and ongoing live business in your regions
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, schedule, and plan across several ongoing projects
- Highest-level ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and teammates across time zones to ensure mutual respect and excellent cooperation with the ability to navigate complex crisis management scenarios and find creative solutions to unplanned challenges
- Market experience in UK, France, or Germany
- 20 days annual leave
- 10 paid floating days per year, prorated in first year of employment

- 15-17% of basic salary as an annual bonus
