Aardvark Swift has teamed up with the amazing 22cans to find a Senior Mobile QA Tester to join them in their studio in Guildford.
22cans are looking for a skilled, organised, and motivated person to assist with the coordination and facilitation of their QA team, and testing for the next upcoming release. You will be part of a growing studio and working on an exciting project in a role that will have real impact on the success of the project.
This role is suited to an organised self-starter, someone who is confident when communicating, and facilitating. A clear communicator that works well in a team and sometimes guiding a team. An individual who is capable of writing clear and concise documentation. Someone with an analytical mind that will look for areas of improvement and opportunities to assist the team when no specific tasks or projects are underway.
Your responsibilities…

Your responsibilities…
- Guide the QA Legacy team, coordinating their daily operations and working with production to define test strategies
- Prepare, and maintain test plans for internal and external tests
- Coordinate external test partners
- Help design and implement new QA and development processes and tools
- Ensuring the studio QA process is consistent and of high quality
- Perform testing of our games throughout the development process to ensure first-class products
- Identify bugs and produce high-quality bug reports including: a detailed description, accurate reproduction steps and severity rating, etc
- Three or more years experience as a QA Tester in the games industry (mobile gaming is a big plus)
- Experience coordinating a group of people to achieve a goal
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An analytical and inquisitive mindset
- A desire to know the game inside out, becoming an expert within the team
- Happy working in a small team where everyone has “multiple hat” roles
