Job description
Working in partnership with Wooga, we are looking for a Senior/Lead Monetization Manager to join one of Europe's leading mobile games studios based in the heart of Berlin.
You will be part of an international team and shape the daily player journey and drive studio-wide alignment around what players should see, feel and do each day.
You’ll be the “director of the day”, crafting each moment to reflect the monthly theme, nudging players toward the meaningful actions and purchases while ensuring the entire team is working from the same script.
This role is about more than offers and events; it’s about changing how we think, driving clarity and ensuring our communication and content deliver real impact every day.

What you’ll be doing:
- Attract players to engage meaningfully and invest in experiences through creative storytelling and tailored value propositions
- Manage populations and funnels by matching the right player segments with existing tools and development requests, ensuring the studio's goals and KPIs are met
- Own the daily and monthly monetization calendar: what’s the story, what’s the goal and how do we get players there
- Direct cross-functional teams to deliver the right features, offers, art and messaging in sync
- Lead change in how the team thinks about guiding players, turning plans into clear, actionable focus
- Collaborate with marketing, community and CRM to ensure unified and impactful player communication
- Monitor performance, player behaviour and results to optimize strategy continuously
What you will need
- Experience leading monetization or LiveOps in free-to-play mobile games
- Strong strategic and operational mindset—you see the big picture and execute the details
- Proven ability to align cross-functional teams and drive change
- Excellent communicator who can bring clarity, direction, and purpose to daily work
- Data-informed, player-first thinking with an eye for commercial impact
