We’re working with Toronto based Sago Mini as they look for Senior Unity Developer to join their team. If you are driven by quality, like to tackle juicy technical challenges, and have experience using Unity and C#, then this could be the role for you.

As a Senior Unity Developer, you will be responsible for working closely with a cross-functional team of product managers, UX, QA and other developers to design and build new product features on Sago Mini’s next major project. If you like to take ownership, and you flourish from working in a fast-paced agile product/customer focused environment then you’ll be well suited to this role and to Sago Mini.

Your responsibilities…
  • Play a senior role in supporting your cross-functional team
  • Working on all things related to the accounts and store subscription systems
  • Creating tools to help your team be productive and stay on track
  • Supporting app releases across multiple platforms
  • Handling all small details for a successful app release
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience
  • A deep understanding of how to use Unity to create cross-platform mobile apps
  • Strong OOP skills
  • Proficient in C# to write clear and reusable code
  • Familiar with building apps using IAPs; both local and server-side receipt validation
  • Comfortable building custom Unity Plugins for iOS (Objective-C/Swift) and/or Android (Java/Kotlin)
  • A degree in game development/engineering/computer science or practical experience working in app development
  • A deep appreciation for the details that take a user’s experience from good to great
  • Enjoy cross-team collaboration to solve problems
