Job description

We are looking for a Senior Unity Programmer on behalf of LostCTRL to support their development of casual match 3 puzzle games. This is an exciting time to join a team on the verge of launching a new title, with ambitious growth targets for the year.

The studio is an Istanbul-based game developer and publisher with a strong player-first approach. The role also has the scope to become a Lead Programmer role as the team continues to grow.

At LostCTRL, the team share knowledge, support each other, try new things, and take responsibilities and own projects from idea to release and beyond. If you are a passionate individual who wants to make an impact on the projects they work on, this opportunity might be for you.

In this role, you will be utilising Unity when editing scripting for level design tools and working with RPG components and 3-match puzzle mechanics.

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in the related field
  • 3+ years of high-level experience in a Unity/Unity3D environment, with experience building and launching one or more mobile games
  • Ability to adapt to new engineering skills, concepts, and software
  • Passion for creating and playing mobile games
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
  • Experience with plugin integrations on both IOS & Android
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and creating Object-Oriented designs
  • Experience managing multiple projects and leading a team of developers
  • Professional proficiency in English
It's a bonus if you have…
  • Postgraduate Degrees in any field
  • Familiarity with 3 Match Puzzle Game mechanics
  • Passion for RPG Games
  • Experience with Shader Graphs
Perks and benefits include…
  • Quarterly bonus
  • Hybrid and remote working models
  • Constant learning opportunities and support for educational training, courses, and classes
