Aardvark Swift are currently supporting Gameloft in Montreal with their search for a 3D programmer to join their team! In this role, you will participate in the production of new multiplatform games for mobile and console, working with well-known licences!

Your role and responsibilities will include...
 

  • Developing, improving and maintaining games' rendering pipelines
  • Taking responsibility for games' graphic performance across many platforms
  • Programming tools needed by other contributors
  • Staying up to date on the latest rendering techniques and GPUs
  • Working closely with game designers and the graphics teams to overcome various game constraints and implement each element



For this role, you'll need...
 

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a computer graphic programmer
  • University degree in computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent
  • Mastery of C++ and/or C# programming languages
  • Experience in console development (Xbox, PS4) is an asset
  • Knowledge of rendering pipelines
  • Proficiency of at least one of the following graphics APIs: OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan and/or Metal
  • A track record in the video-game industry
  • Organisational skills and the ability to work independently
  • An ability to optimise code size and speed to maximize upon the technical capabilities of each platform
  • Clear personal interest in video games, connected with strong knowledge of gaming-industry culture
