CI games are looking for an AI Programmer to join their passionate team in creating exceptional games in Unreal Engine 5. The studio currently has a number of exciting projects in the pipeline. They are looking for self-starter individuals who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced multi-disciplined environment.
Your responsibilities…
Implement the required AI solutions for the game, coping with the game design intentions and the technical requirements to secure performance
Collaborate across departments to generate cost-effective pipelines
Work on other non-AI features or sub-features assigned, when required and ensuring all features are networked
Working on backend for enemy and player skills, RPG systems, etc and specific tools requested by combat designers.
Handling TRCs related to AI
Working on UI / UX if needed
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
2+ years of experience as an AI Programmer
Big plus if part of your experience was spent developing FPS Shooter / Tactical FPS games
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
Experience building AI systems for several Unreal Engine 4 PC, console, or mobile games
Deep familiarity, experience and knowledge using Unreal Engine Blueprints and C++ across the entire pipeline of 3D game development
Able to work flexibly on both routine and more complex tasks across various projects and time-zones
Ability to prioritise workload as well as being flexible and responsive to last minute changes
High level of attention to detail and methodical approach to work
Strong English communication and interpersonal skills
