Job description

Here at Aardvark Swift, we’re exciting to be partnering with Wooga in their search for a Director of Economy - someone who can architect impactful in-game economies and leverage business insights to shape the long-term success of their products.
You’ll define the systems that guide player behaviour and engagement (Economy), while also owning the performance intelligence that informs product decisions (Business Analytics). You won’t just support product strategy — you’ll help set it.

Leading the Economy & Business Analytics teams, you will:
  • Drive strategy and execution across both areas
  • Design and balance in-game economies, including currencies, rewards, progression loops, and pricing to align player motivation with revenue goals
  • Guide economic feature development from concept through LiveOps, ensuring retention, fairness, and growth
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align economy design with player segmentation, LiveOps planning, content strategy, and overall business objectives
  • Oversee business and player behaviour analytics, turning data into actionable insights for product direction and performance improvement
  • Develop forecasting models and dashboards to support strategic planning and LiveOps optimization
  • Partner with Data Science to ensure alignment between economy design and analytics efforts
  • Champion analytics and economy design as creative tools, fostering innovation and empowering the organization.
What you will need
  • Proven experience in F2P mobile games, with deep expertise in both economy design and business performance analysis
  • Track record of leading game economies through all stages from early design to live operation
  • Strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience using dashboards, cohort analysis and forecasting tools
  • A strategic, systems-thinking mindset with a bias for action and iteration
  • Strong communicator and collaborator, comfortable aligning stakeholders across Product, Design, and UA
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring talent across design and analytics
What’s on offer:
  • Generous relocation package for you and your family including visa and home search.
  • Support with securing kindergarten/nursey/preschool slots.
  • Competitive salary
  • Annual performance related bonus (Individual + Company performance based)
  • Hybrid working with 2 days per week to encourage in-person collaboration and team bonding.
  • 'Workcation' – work from abroad for up to 10 days per year.
  • 28 days annual leave, increasing with service.
  • Education budget and extra days off for self-development.
  • German language classes for you and your significant other.
