We are supporting Thunderful Games as they look for a PR and Influencer Manager to join the marcoms team.
Over the last few years, Thunderful Games has grown into a Europe-wide organisation of more than 300 people. Alongside the award-winning internal development pipeline responsible for the likes of the Steamworld IP, Thunderful Games also publishes a large number of third-party titles such as LEGO Bricktales, Planet Of Lana, Jurassic World Aftermath, and Viewfinder.
As a PR and Influencer Manager, you will be reporting to the Senior PR and Influencer Marketing Manager. In collaboration with the development, production, brand, social media, community, events, and sales team members, you will be responsible for leading the creation, planning, development, and implementation of strategic PR and Influencer marketing campaigns across all of Thunderful Games titles.
Your responsibilities…
Plan and develop the PR and influencer strategy for a select portfolio of Thunderful titles
Execute strategies tailored to local market needs such as the creation of territory specific press releases, product presentations, and media blasts
Lead media outreach and relations
Lead press event planning and execution
Manage influencer marketing execution (paid and organic)
Ensure that PR and influencer marketing timelines, budgets, milestones, and deliverables are met
Manage and co-ordinate relevant external supporting agencies, whether global, regional, or local, ensuring a strong working relationship
Support with co-marketing PR and influencer opportunities with both first parties, licensors, and other key partners
Responsible for PR and influencer marketing budget on set allocation of titles
Support the Senior PR and Influencer Manager and other relevant internal departments on game awards submissions such as IGF, Gamescom, and Pocketgamer
Regular reporting and analysis on all relevant PR and influencer success metrics and ROI
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
3+ years of professional experience as a PR and Influencer Marketing Manager in videogames
Demonstrable experience delivering successful and standout PR and influencer campaigns for either indie or AAA titles
Extensive knowledge and contact book for key endemic global media partners and content creators
Excellent time management, organisational, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
Excellent written English, copywriting, and proof-reading skills
Experience of marketing VR titles is a bonus
Strong data analysis with experience reporting against relevant PR and influencer marketing metrics
Self-starter with a can-do mindset
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-changing environment
