We are supporting XR Games as they look for a Senior 3D Artist to join their team as they begin work on multiple exciting projects.

The studio are a multi award-winning game development studio that specialises in immersive VR games. Since 2020, their team has grown from 20 full-time members to almost 100 by the close of 2022, with successful previous projects such as Zombieland: Headshot Fever and Angry Birds Under Pressure.

Your responsibilities…

• Create, implement, and compose diverse 3D art across areas such as environments, weapons, and vehicles
• Work closely with the art director to ensure visual standards, technical requirements, and best practises are maintained
• Mentor and guide a team of junior 3D Artists and provide regular feedback

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…

• 5+ years of experience within a games studio, with proven experience leading a team of artists on small projects
• High proficiency in industry standard software such as 3DS Max/Maya, ZBrush, and Substance Painter/Designer
• Proven ability to work across different visual styles
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas visually, as well as verbally
• Fantastic leadership skills, including mentoring/managing junior artists
• Experience and understanding of game engines such as Unity/Unreal and similar
