Aardvark Swift are looking for a Senior Animator to join CI Games. Founded in 2002, CI Games have been creating globally recognised titles for close to twenty years including the fan-celebrated Sniper Ghost Warrior franchise which has sold over 13 million copies worldwide, while their action RPG, Lords of the Fallen, recently surpassed the 3 million mark.
CI Games have operational studios in Warsaw, Barcelona, Bucharest, and the US. We’re working with their Warsaw studio to recruit a talented and dedicated Senior Animator to work on their sequel to Lords of The Fallen.
Your responsibilities will be…
Produce high quality animations which create thrilling, story-driven moments
Collaborate with the Rigging and Pipeline teams and add input on how to improve character setup, rigs, and tool functionality
Communicate with the Outsourcing team
Meet delivery deadlines under production constraints
Work closely with Supervisors and Pipeline department to develop tools and workflows associated with animation
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
Thorough knowledge of Maya
Experience of Motion Capture cleaning and Keyframe Animation
Experience of creature and bipedal animation
Strong understanding of rigs, rigging set-ups and transferring data between tools
Superb critical thinking skills and comfortable taking the initiative and offering up ideas
Strong communication skills, comfortable receiving direction and constructive criticism
Concise presentation skills for dailies and reviews
Excellent aesthetic eye and able to anticipate potential problems
Able to manage time effectively and prioritise
A traditional animation or art background and a good knowledge of cinematic language and camera terminology would also be highly beneficial but not essential.
