Rebellion are looking for an experienced Senior Character Artist to work on Rebellion games, as well as trusted industry partners on genre-defining AAA IPs.
Your responsibilities…
Work closely with other members of the art team to create high-quality artwork for ongoing projects.
Track and update the progress of day-to-day tasks using designated organisational and tracking tools
Ensure the technical and artistic quality of the project by collaborating with colleagues and making changes when necessary
Support the team in producing high-quality character models
Create additional character models such as hair, accessories, and clothing
Work in collaboration with other members of the character team to produce assets of a consistent technical and artistic quality
Work in collaboration with the animation team to provide functional character assets that conform to any specific requirements for animations
Deliver clean and optimised models, and efficient UV layouts according to the project’s technical requirements
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
Good understanding of 3D software such as 3D Studio Max or Maya, and knowledge of 3D sculpting package Zbrush
Knowledge of Substance Painter
Awareness of PBR material pipelines
Strong knowledge of modelling processes such as hi-res sculpting and baking textures
Experience of the video game development process
Adept in being able to translate concept and reference artwork into 3D assets
Excellent ability to create characters with clean topology for rigging and animation
