Job description

We are working with VR giant nDreams as they look for a Senior Marketing Manager to join their team.

nDreams work out of a fully refurbished office with fantastic facilities, all built to foster a collaborative culture, from this base they have established themselves as a leading developer and publisher of VR games.

nDreams are known for their innovation and excellence in the industry, their portfolio includes award-winning games such as Phantom: Covert Ops and Fracked, and they have a track record of delivering high production value VR games for all platforms.

As a Senior Marketing Manager you will manage and mentor their talented team of Brand Managers, as well as leading the go-to-market campaigns for their upcoming VR games.  

Your responsibilities… 
  • Collaborate with the Brand Director on long-term resource and development planning
  • Lead and manage marketing initiatives that bring value across projects such as paid media, first-party marketing, and events
  • Developing and mentoring direct reports, supporting their future growth and success
  • Bring together the wider publishing team to ensure the holistic marketing campaign are effective and fully supported across all areas of the marketing mix
  • Developing and implementing the marketing activities and campaign beats, ensuring these are effective, delivered on time, and to budget
  • Plan and deliver to industry and consumer events such as E3, Gamescom, and EGX
  • Analyse campaign data to shape future plans
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, solutions-orientated team culture that encourages exploration and continual improvement, balanced with quality and timely delivery
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
  • 5+ years experience within a marketing management role at a video game developer or publisher
  • Wide-ranging experience leading, managing, and developing an effective and motivated marketing team, in a positive and sensitive manner
  • Experience collaborating with individuals and teams of different backgrounds, seniorities, and viewpoints
  • Comfortable going between team management, leadership, and hands-on execution
  • Excellent go-to-market campaign planning and execution experience, particularly around developing, running, and optimising paid media campaigns
  • Evidence of applied and theoretical understanding of marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully plan and execute complex projects on time and to budget
  • Inquisitive and analytical, willing to find and utilise learnings, other perspectives, and creative problem-solving to shape and iterate on plans and challenge their own thinking
