Aardvark Swift are supporting Super Rare Games as they search for a Senior Producer to join their supportive and friendly London based team and manage the entire production cycle from signing to release for PC and multi-console independent video game titles.

Super Rare Games have released more than 70 games on the Nintendo Switch, making them Europe’s most prolific physical Switch publisher! With a passionate aim to support indie developers of all levels, physically preserve great video games, and offer collectors playable and displayable delights, Super Rare have a mantra to be indies’ best friend.

Super Rare is substantially expanding, primarily via their original digital publishing label, Super Rare Originals. To date, they have announced 6 original indie titles, with many more in the pipeline behind closed doors. These varied, exciting games from talented individuals and groups have the entire company buzzing!

Your responsibilities…
  • Manage the entire production cycle from signing to release for PC and multi-console independent video game titles
  • Have full production and budget responsibility for the games you are assigned
  • Work closely with the Development Team to create and then execute timelines and milestones for each project
  • Collaborate with the Development Team to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Liaise with platform-holders and partners for submission and delivery of projects
  • Day-to-day team management, helping your team to remain focused and actively working on their tasks
  • Project road mapping, backlog refinement, sprint planning and reviews, retrospectives, dependency management
  • Working with external teams including outsource vendors, licensors, and publisher teams
  • Provide production overview and status to stakeholders and leads
  • Manage and support other producers in their career development, setting and achieving their goals and closing knowledge gaps
  • Encourage and support a positive, creative, feedback- focused culture in your teams and help identify and resolve morale or engagement issues
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
  • 4 years as a Producer or Project Manager with experience across the full development lifecycle from concept to post-launch
  • Submissions experience across multiple platforms
  • Organised and comfortable working to deadlines and budgets, with a methodical approach to setting priorities
This position is a full-time flexible hybrid role working Tuesday - Thursday from their London office located near King’s Cross, and remotely Monday and Friday.
