Job description
Renowned studio Splash Damage are working with Aardvark Swift to find a Senior Production Director to join their ranks and shepherd the team to deliver on release goals as well as being the overall handler of the ideation process and features requirements.
As Senior Production Director you’ll work alongside the Creative Director and Senior Development Director to define and deliver the game, and be responsible for balancing the game vision, strategy, and business model, utilising your deep understanding of the market, players, game features and engagement/monetization mechanics.
You’ll champion the player and market needs at every step, from concept to ship, help identify and define engaging features, content and systems that are aimed at delivering on key metric needs and targets.
You will own and manage the content and release roadmap, working with the creative teams and development management teams to ensure the product vision is matched by a world class content roadmap that delivers what the players love and want. You will also be responsible for the ongoing critical and commercial success of the game, while building a best-in-class development teams that will grow and improve the studio.
Your responsibilities…

Your responsibilities…
- Balancing the game vision, strategy, and business model
- Deliver a high quality and consumer-appropriate game to the market
- Champion the player and market needs at every step, from concept to ship
- Help identify and define engaging features, content and systems that are aimed at delivering on key metric needs and targets.
- Own and manage the content and release roadmap, collaborate with creative and development management teams to ensure the vision is matched by a world class content roadmap
- Play a pivotal role in the critical and commercial success of the game
- Build best-in-class development teams that will enhance the studio
- Previous experience as a Senior Production Director in the games industry
- Shipped one or more AAA titles in a production capacity
- Passion for the gaming industry and its current trends, being an avid gamer yourself
- Ability to actualise visions through capable team management, tactical execution, and unrelenting focus on daily progress
- Assist the team to determine content prioritisation, connecting player engagement efforts to the broader vision
- Experience empowering others to drive their own ambitions by fostering an environment of shared ownership, accountability, constructive criticism, recognition, appreciation, and collaboration
- Prior experience guiding teams down the right path ensuring confidence is put into the work the studio and team makes
- Eye for detail, being analytical minded to tune and improve the products key metrics
