Aardvark Swift is working with Rocksteady Studios with their recruitment campaign to find a Senior Rendering Programmer to join their dedicated and collaborative team working on the upcoming AAA title Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
The role involves writing, extending, and optimising the sophisticated graphics technologies which power their game. You’ll be refining existing techniques, exploring new ones, and developing tools for more efficient content creation.
You’ll also collaborate with artists & tech artists to support them in delivering the Art Director’s vision, and together come up with creative solutions to deliver the highest quality game experience on their target hardware, including high-end PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
Your responsibilities will be…
Developing rendering features and systems
Profiling and optimising on CPU & GPU
Guiding artists in content creation and optimisation
Improving debug tools and development workflows
Researching, prototyping, and implementing new rendering techniques
The skills and experience you will bring to the role…
High level of C++ coding and general technical ability
Strong graphics background with knowledge of cutting-edge rendering techniques and 3D math
Good understanding of current graphics hardware, APIs, and shader programming languages
Knowledge of a variety of CPU, GPU, and asset optimisation approaches
Professional game development experience on high quality projects
Bonus points if you have experience with Unreal Engine 4/5, and/or familiarity with the latest generation of consoles.
