Free Radical Design are looking for a Senior Tools Programmer to work on the highly anticipated new TimeSplitters game.

Your responsibilities…
- Collaborate with your team to solve problems together throughout any department
- Write and follow technical specs to write effectively for documentation, being concise and organised, and making use of imagery and reference where appropriate to convey information
- Estimate work timelines and communicate with production
- Promote and develop best practices across the team
- Develop and maintain a healthy creative team culture throughout the business
- Liaise with production on task assignments, and scheduling for the team
- Have ownership and responsibility for deliverables
- Identify the training needs of your team and mentor less experienced members
- Work cross-discipline to help build a holistic view of the project and its requirements
- Proficient in using Unreal Engine and C++
- Competent Unreal Engine Blueprint ability which includes an understanding of bug-finding tools and methods
- Excellent understanding of software design and how to structure re-usable blocks of code
- Area of specialism within Unreal Engine such as AI, animation, networking, gameplay, tools, graphics, backend, engine
- Ability to plan and estimate work across the team for large scale tasks
