Job description

Chinese mobile studio HiStar Entertainment are looking to recruit a UI Designer to join their Shenzhen based studio as they expand both their development team and studio repertoire.

As HiStar capitalise on their success they are looking to build and grow both their development team and their product portfolio. You’ll play a part in this by building their next match-3 game as apart of their fun and dynamic work environment surrounded by passionate, creative, and talented devs.

HiStar Entertainment are a highly innovative games company who specialise in social / casual gaming titles, over recent years they have developed a talented, international team of developers creating fun and interactive mobile games.

Their mission is to create games that are loved and played all over the world and they’re well on their way to achieving this goal with 30 game titles that have been downloaded across 35 different countries across the world with a highly impressive 60 million gamers!

Your responsibilities…
  • Design and oversee the visual interface and interactive experience of casual match-three games
  • Ensure the user interface design aligns with the product positioning and user needs
  • Design special UI interfaces, including operational activity interfaces
  • Ensure consistency with the overall product style and user experience
  • Manage and maintain art assets related to product UI
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications and effective management and utilization
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
  • 3 or more years’ experience in UI design in the games or gaming industry
  • Proficient in UI design software and related workflow processes
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, enjoy collaborating with team members
  • Deep understanding of casual game product interactions
  • Strong aesthetic abilities and solid artistic skills, able to flexibly apply design skills and design in multiple styles
  • Possess keen observation of user experience and innovative spirit
  • Able to explore and introduce new design concepts to enhance product user experience
