You will lead and drive overall project development plans, focused on team performance and health while executing the ongoing vision for games. You will bring together people, materials and tools, unencumbering teams through direction, mentoring and management; changing agile production process to match performance to ensure a strong focus on quality, teamwork, communication, and improvement.

You’ll own a project plan through to launch and continually operate the game in on time, to quality, and within budget. Drawing on your agile leadership experience, you are able to continually review and improve the development process and team performance, and executive development plans to suit different projects.

You will be quality-first focused and understand the needs of our players and the business. You will be accountable for the overall project plan and make data-driven decisions to improve your teams and align them around the long-term plans for operating a GaaS.

You’ll be the voice of reason when needed, as teams balance creative ambition with their proven capacity to execute on time and the single source of truth and represent the state and the outlook of the project internally and to external clients; and seek to foster an open, fun, and transparent development culture.

The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
  • Proven management skills with clinical handling of agile development, allowing your team to execute on the goals and craft the best product possible
  • An adept strategist with careful planning to produce results, highlight obstacles and mitigate risk
  • Experienced at agile production and comfortable advising other project leaders where necessary
  • Effective leadership skills to balance and prioritize short-term solutions with long-term vision and goals
  • Effective, consistent, clear, and aligned communicator that builds trust, internally and externally, providing updates on issues, achievements, priorities, and goals
  • Able to foster an environment of shared ownership, empowerment, accountability, constructive criticism, recognition, appreciation, and collaboration
  • A true love of games, you play games, you take your play seriously
