Aardvark Swift has teamed with Dorado Games to find a Frontend Developer to join their Maltese based studio.
Dorado Games focuses on designing, developing, and marketing online strategy games for all platforms. Their flagship game, "Conflict of Nations: World War 3", is a global hit and is constantly evolving across iOS, Android, and PC/Steam.
As a Frontend Developer at Dorado Games, you'll be part of an interdisciplinary team working on exciting projects like CONFLICT OF NATIONS: WORLD WAR 3 and other, as yet, unannounced titles.
You’ll use HTML5, SASS, WebGL, JS & TypeScript, and VueJS to help shape the frontend of cutting-edge online games deployed across various platforms.
Your responsibilities…
Develop frontend features for new game releases and integrate them with the backend
Write and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code following international coding standards
Collaborate closely across departments, sister companies, and with external partners to deliver exceptional online gaming experiences
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
3 or more years’ experience in HTML5/CSS3/SASS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and VueJS or other frontend frameworks
Able to accurately develop based on provided UI/UX mockups
Strong problem-solving skills and comfortable working collaboratively within a team
Experience in shipping, releasing, or live developing at least one commercial product or game
Strong English language skills
Desirable but not essential skills…
Knowledge of multiplayer/PvP/online game development practices
Familiarity with agile software development and scrum-based working environments
Backend development experience with Java/PHP/MySQL
