We are working with DECK13 Interactive to find a Lead 3C Designer to join their passionate development team as they see continual growth and expansion!

With a superbly talented team of over 85 employees from more than 15 nations, DECK13 have been developing world class action RPG games as a specialty and have worked on truly outstanding titles with real heavy impact on success, including major releases such as Lords of the Fallen, The Surge, and their own title Atlas Fallen. 

Your responsibilities… 
  • Driving combat and exploration experiences from the player character’s perspective, alongside the Game Design Director and senior team members
  • Managing and mentoring the 3C Design team, as well as nurturing team cohesion, a positive work environment, and a constructive collaboration with other departments
  • Supervising the development of 3C features (camera, character, controller), as well as their production dependencies from early design to final polish, guaranteeing the highest quality within production deadlines
  • Defining short and mid-term planning in accordance with producers and the Game Design Director
  • Ensuring the communication and the proper documentation of 3C features
The skills and experience you'll bring to the role…
  • 5 or more years of professional experience in 3C design fields, with an emphasis on driving combat and navigation experiences from conception to final polish
  • 2 or more shipped games in a 3C design role
  • Strong knowledge of professional game development editors and visual scripting
  • Experience in a leadership role is a strong plus
  • Good knowledge of user experience is a bonus
