Job description

Aardvark Swift are working with a well-established studio based in the Midlands, UK, who are looking for a Production Director to join and lead their Production team.

As Production Director you will be a key partner to the Executive Producer, with a focus on managing and supporting the development of the production team.  You’ll be planning the process across the project, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality project with your collaborative team.
 
The skills and requirements you’ll bring to the role…
  • Broad production experience from various projects, preferably in a AAA studio
  • Full life-cycle development as Director or Producer with 12 years’ in games
  • Preferably 6 years experience as a Development Director, Senior Producer, or Lead
  • Product / project management experience, and the ability to demonstrate this both in writing and practically
  • Experience on a project with at least 50 people and with the ability to negotiate where needed
  • A good negotiator and collaborator between departments, who looks to solve challenges with a positive approach
  • Experience in managing and improving the creative process
  • Analytical and critical thinking managing differing priorities, with a sharp eye for quality and can get into detail when required
  • Bigger picture view with the ability to make decisions at a strategic level
  • Approachability with a good level of experience in different management styles at varying levels
  • Engaging, with management experience of senior team members and coaching success
  • A brand ambassador, who will happily represent the studio and show their passion for gaming
  • Strong, clear writing ability
