We're looking for a Recruitment Team Lead to join our award-winning recruitment agency.
We have over 30 years of expertise in recruitment for the Video Games, Toys, and Licensing industries. To accommodate our ambitious and achievable growth plans, we are looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our team!
This is an exciting time to join a thriving market, where you will play a key role in leading our graduate initiative Grads in Games, and the Search For A Star game development challenge and the Get In The Game tour.
As our Team Lead for graduate initiatives, you will create a positive impact within the games industry, helping more young people achieve their goal of working in game development, and supporting industry growth whilst leading and developing a team of experienced recruiters within Aardvark Swift.
As a Team Lead you will support, guide and mentor members of your immediate team and provide support to the Recruitment Manager on wider recruitment-related activities across the business. You will also oversee the graduate initiatives that run throughout the year, working in conjunction with the Marketing Manager and the Marketing team on the delivery of graduate projects.
Your key day-to-day accountabilities will include...
Lead weekly L10 performance meetings
Complete weekly 1-2-1 meetings and quarterly performance reviews with your team
Identify training and coaching needs, escalate to L&D Manager when required
Support your team in dealing with any difficult recruitment issues, escalating them to SMT when required
Assist Recruitment Manager in collating data for weekly Team Level 10 Meetings
Assist Recruitment Manager in setting weekly KPIs and quarterly objectives for your team
Work with the Recruitment Manager to develop both individual and team business development strategies within your business unit
Project Management & Planning - lead the planning and management of graduate pipeline projects and events throughout the year (assigning resources to tasks, ensuring project delivery)
Partner Management - build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners and academic contacts through regular communication
Business Development - source new partnership opportunities and sponsorships with games studios
The skills and experience you'll bring to the role...
5+ years’ experience in agency recruitment
Experience of key account management.
A track record of being a successful team manager – minimum of 1 year.
The ability and the to hit the ground running building strong relationships with clients from day one
Strong ability to collaborate across teams on shared projects
