Job description

TT games are seeking a Senior Game Designer to join the team at their Brighton studio.

As a Senior Designer at TT Games, you will be working a hybrid model from their Brighton office and be responsible for key contributions to game design, across a range of areas from moment-to-moment gameplay, systems, and economy as you collaborate with fellow developers to implement, maintain, and balance key features.

Your responsibilities…
  • Liaise with the Design Director on task priority and working towards the game vision
  • Own key areas of the game design and associated documentation
  • Design, prototype, implement, test, and balance gameplay mechanics
  • Play and evaluate constantly, problem solving and iterating to a high degree of quality
  • Provide critical feedback from your perspective on our project and comparable titles
  • Collaborate with Designers, Programmers, Artists, Product Managers, Producers and QA
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
  • Shipped one or more mobile titles from a Design or Senior Design role, preferably covering multiple phases of production across your career
  • Passionate about game design and a deep understanding of design fundamentals
  • Aptitude across multiple design areas including gameplay, systems, and economy
  • Familiar with the mobile market, free to play mechanics and monetisation methods
  • Experienced in using game development editors, tools, and software
  • Keen to keep learning, open to new ideas and receptive to direction
  • Comfortable communicator, willing to help others and ask for help when needed
