Aardvark Swift are leading the search for an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Marketing and Growth to join one of Europe's leading mobile games studios based in the heart of Berlin.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving profitable user growth, unifying performance and brand marketing, overseeing creative development and leading cross-functional collaboration to grow the player base.
You will manage a high-performing team covering performance marketing, brand, creative, UA operations, and organic growth. You will work closely with product, monetization and data teams to ensure marketing strategies align with business priorities and player experience goals.
This role requires a sharp eye for performance, a collaborative mindset and a passion for growth through experimentation, storytelling, and strong execution.
Your responsibilities will be:
? Lead and develop the full Marketing & Growth function including Performance Marketing, Brand Marketing, Creative Strategy, Marketing PMs, and Organic Growth
? Define and drive the user growth strategy, balancing short-term ROI and long-term brand equity
? Own audience acquisition strategy with focus on scaling high-quality, high-LTV user segments
? Guide creative strategy and testing with a data-first mindset; champion iterative improvement
? Identify and prioritise markets and platforms with the highest growth potential
? Represent the marketing function in company leadership forums and coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Monetization, LiveOps and BI teams, aligning marketing execution with broader business targets
? Maintain and grow strategic relationships with key platforms, ad networks and UA partners
? Oversee the development of brand/IP partnerships and ensure brand alignment across all channels
? Partner closely with game teams to influence features, funnels and positioning that impact user acquisition and conversion
What you will bring:
? Proven solid experience in senior leadership roles withing the mobile games market
? Strong expertise in UA strategy, creative testing, campaign scaling and ROI optimization
? Track record of growing games through performance-driven marketing
? Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and growing cross-functional teams
? Data-literate and experienced in working closely with BI and data science teams
? Ability to build strong relationships and align with stakeholder
