Job description

Splash Damage are looking for a Senior Level Designer to join their team in Bromley.

Upon joining the studio, you will take ownership of large areas of level design across their projects from concept to implementation, and work with Design Leads to ensure that levels align with the project’s narrative, vision, and quality standards.

Your knowledge of core gameplay mechanics and the project target demographic will allow you build compelling, fun, and memorable levels that with ensure high levels of player retention and live long on into the ages.

As a Senior you will provide input to production and management on project schedules throughout development to aid with task prioritisation and work schedules, you will also mentor and coach junior colleagues.

The key skills and experience you’ll bring to the role…
  • Industry Experience working in a senior design position
  • One or more shipped AAA titles on console or PC featuring a multiplayer component
  • Experience of working on shipped AAA titles from beginning to end
  • Experience of people-management such as mentoring or line-management of a small team
  • Experience creating first or third person shooters
  • Well versed in prototyping maps and gameplay mechanics using UE4, UE3, Unity, or similar
  • Skilled at multiplayer level design
