Aardvark Swift is searching for a Technical Animator on behalf of a vibrant game studio known as 10 Chambers. Based in the scenic city of Stockholm, Sweden, they are a well-funded scale-up backed by Tencent. They're a collaborative bunch with a deep-rooted passion for gaming.
Currently, they're busy shaping their debut game GTFO and have their sights set on a thrilling new project – a cooperative heist FPS with a techno-thriller backdrop. This venture is guided by Ulf Andersson, the creative mind behind Payday 1 & 2.
As they expand their Animation team, 10 Chambers needs a skilled Technical Animator. In this role, you'll ensure that Animators and Artists have the essential tools, ensuring smooth integration within their pipeline.
Your responsibilities…
Grasp the ins and outs of the animation system's features and functions
Collaborate on intricate animation systems alongside animators and other teams
Harmonize animations with technical, aesthetic, and gameplay requirements
Research and share knowledge about industry techniques and animation tools
Develop scripts and tools for artists/animators
The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role...
Over 3 years in a technical animator role, ideally in gaming
Solid character rigging skills and a grasp of animation principles
Familiarity with Motionbuilder
Structured work approach with prioritization know-how
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills
Initiative, creativity, and resourcefulness in solving problems
Fluent English (Swedish proficiency not required)
