We’re working with Winkel to find a UI Artist to join their team. Winkel is a Central London start-up with a clear strategy to develop and publish hyper-casual mobile games. Comprised of an industry-experienced team, they have started from scratch with no pre-conditions, no baggage and no boundaries!

Your responsibilities will include...
- Design and help implement UI elements for Skill Cash mini games and original casual games, art for menu systems, HUDs, icons, and popups
- Ability to work from predefined UX flows, or create more basic flows independently
- Create art from idea to implementation, including sketches, first drafts and in app iterations. Proactively polish and refine art during the implementation stage
- Collaborate with programmers, designers, and product managers
- Work from a brief and match the existing art direction
The skills and experience you'll bring to the role...
- 3+ years of experience in mobile game development, preferably having recent experience in working in a small team
- At least one shipped title where you were responsible for UI art from idea to implementation
- Ability to take designs from wireframes to production
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, and colour theory
- Experience with Unity, preferably with an understanding of particles and animation systems
- An understanding of the limitations on mobile, including designing for various screen sizes and notches
- An understanding of UX design principles
