Iconic studio and entertainment giant Konami are working with us to find a UK National Account Manager to join their Windsor based team and take on the responsibility for handling their UK based accounts, both retail and digital.

As UK National Account Manager you  will support the Sales Manager of the Northern Europe branch seeking out new business opportunities and delivering growth working across the mass channel retailers, with the focus being the UK first.

You will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term business partnerships. You will play a crucial role in understanding the needs of key accounts, identifying opportunities for growth, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional value.

Your responsibilities... 
  • Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with key clients
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts and address their needs effectively
  • Understand clients' business objectives and align company solutions to meet their goals
  • Develop comprehensive account plans that outline strategies for account growth and expansion
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of company resources with client needs
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within key accounts
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure expectations are met and exceeded
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development teams to align strategies and offerings with client requirements
  • Provide regular updates and reports to internal stakeholders on the status of key accounts
  • Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges faced by key accounts
  • Collaborate internally to resolve client concerns and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
  • Utilise market insights to identify new opportunities and potential risks within key accounts
  • Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for key accounts
  • Monitor and report on the achievement of sales targets, customer satisfaction, and other relevant metrics
The skills and experience you'll bring to the role...
  • Previous experience working in either the Video Games, Licensing or Toy industries in Account Management or similar role
  • Experienced in developing strategies for account growth and maximisation
  • Demonstrable experience of growing accounts
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Adept at building relationships
  • Knowledge of the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card games would be a big plus
